We believe in curiosity,

in learning from one another,

and in the pleasure of good company.

Founded in 2018, the West Suburban Art Society brings together people across DuPage County who love the fine arts.

Our purpose is arts education — providing opportunities and experiences in all media, and encouraging adult learning in the fine arts.

We are an Illinois 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

Who we are

An auditorium with a presentation on Andy Warhol titled 'Andy Warhol Portfolios: A Life in Pop Works from the Bank of America Collection,' featuring a colorful Warhol artwork of a person's face with sunglasses projected on a screen at the front.

What we do

Ten lectures a year, presented across five afternoons by fellow members. Luncheons with programs. An annual tea. And special programs at venues around the area, sometimes in partnership with neighboring arts groups.

Lectures are free to members. Luncheons and special programs carry a separate fee and require registration in advance.

Guests are welcome at everything we do.

Run by its members

WSAS has no staff. Every lecture, luncheon, and program is organized by members who volunteer their time. Members present the lectures, serve on the committees, and elect the board each May.

If you'd like to present a lecture or join a committee, we would be delighted to hear from you
