Where Inspiring Programs, Engaging Luncheons, and Fellowship Enrich Every Season *

The West Suburban Art Society, founded in 2018, offers community members opportunities in arts education across various media, while promoting adult learning in fine arts. WSAS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Illinois. Check our bylaws for more information.

We welcome all who have an interest in the arts to join West Suburban Art Society, an IRC 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

A membership fee of $50 includes five lecture dates with 10 lectures presented by members. These begin on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

Approximately three luncheon/programs will kick off on September 9, 2026 held at the Carlisle Banquets in Lombard; a special event is planned on March 31 at the College of DuPage in partnership with the Village Arts Associates and Far West Art Associates, a lecture and luncheon event. Guest presentation by Jeff Nigro and musical accompaniment.

The programs and luncheons are a separate fee and require pre-registration.

Lecture Series

Address and times: Lectures generally have two speakers and are from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Our convenient venue is Glendale Lakes Golf Club, 1550 President Street, Glendale Heights. Doors open for members at 12:30.

How do I get to Glendale Lakes Golf Club?

Directions from the south (in Glen Ellyn)
1) From Geneva Road, turn north on Bloomingdale Road
2) Turn left on E. Fullerton Avenue
3) Turn left onto President Street
4) Pass Glendale Heights Public Library on left
5) Glendale Lakes Golf Club is on the right

Directions from the west (in Wheaton)
1) Go north on Main Street which turns into Schmale Road
2) Turn right on East Fullerton Avenue 
3) Turn right on President Street
4) Glendale Lakes Golf Club will be on the right

Directions from all points east
1) Go west on North Avenue to President Street (2.8 miles west of I-355)
2) Turn north on President Street for .8 miles
3) Glendale Lakes Golf Club will be on the left.


Programs, Tea Party and Tours


WSAS will also provide three luncheons, all luncheons include entertainment programs.

Registration: All luncheons/programs require registration. Details will be sent via email, giving the registration time period, cost and any needed details.

Confirmation of Registration: via email upon online registration and payment.


Guest Policy

For the 2026-27 season, members may invite guests to the lecture series. The fee will be $10 per guest at each lecture. Luncheons and programs may be restricted to members only.
