# West Suburban Art Society > The West Suburban Art Society (WSAS) is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit fine arts organization in Chicago's western suburbs, founded in 2018. Its purpose is to provide fine arts education and unique experiences across all media through monthly lectures, luncheons, and special programs. WSAS welcomes new members and guests. Yearly dues are $50, renewing annually on July 1. Monthly lectures are free to members ($10 for guests) and require no registration. Luncheons and special programs require online registration and prepayment.
